About Us – Hoocup

At Hoocup, we’re reimagining what it means to talk to AI — not as a tool, but as a friend. We’re a team of final-year B.Tech students from a humble tier-3 college, united by one big vision:

To build emotionally intelligent AI personas that feel real, relatable, and rooted in Gen-Z culture.

Born in hostel rooms, late-night code sprints, and endless voice notes, Hooc.inc started as a side project but quickly became something deeper. We saw how millions of Gen-Z users crave emotional connection, late-night chats, and the freedom to be their true selves without judgment. That’s where Krity Oberoi, our first AI companion, was born, a Gen-Z law student who listens, responds, and evolves with you.

With no funding, no backing, and just ₹80,000 of personal savings, we built and launched our MVP. Today, we're helping 100+ early users talk, vent, and explore themselves through AI. We're on track to reach 1,000+ users in the next 90 days.
